Decisions decisions, one of the hardest things to do in life. As one decision could change the path of your life, sometimes you don't even realize how much of an impact one decision could actually make.
Why does it have to be so hard?

I have one to make, whether to stay or leave my current job as a chef to do something else I want, become an Events planner. How do people make their decisions with leaving a job? I've booked a holiday (a few weeks) from work and hopefully by the end of it i'll know what I really want !

I've written a list on the positive and negative things about me being a chef here's a few:

Positive:

• Love to cook ! I have a passion to decorate and create recipes .
• Great boss and workmates
• Everybody loves someone who can cook
• Experience and qualification
• Opportunities later on...
  

Negative

• Long unsocial hours, normally wednesday to sunday nights!
• Working on special occasions such as birthdays on weekends, Christmas, Easter , New years not to mention long weekends.
• Really physical work, standing all day, lifting heavy objects and the amount of cleaning is ridiculous .
• Majority of chefs at my place are either single or divorced..
  
  I think to be a Chef you gotta really want it like really really want it, I mean I want to be a Chef but I just don't think I want it enough to have to lose my social life and everything else for it.
  But then am I wasting my talent in cooking for, is it worth it? how will I ever know.. I guess I won't, I just have to make a decision and whatever happens, happens .

I mean do people just wake up one day knowing what they want to be? What course or career they're going to choose? Are people settling for what they're good at doing or deciding on what they love doing? I wish it were easier, I wish I could easily decide on things like that .
